Our work is entirely tailored to the needs of the organizations we serve.  As such, we offer a wide variety of educational options.  Here's a small sampling:

  • University Setting, One Day

Our "Conversations on End of Life: Let’s Talk About It" is an introduction to Conscious Dying Education and Care that increases conversational confidence and compassionate comforting care.  It's a 3 hour evening program followed by an full day that: builds internal capacity to talk with patients and families about their concerns and end of life wishes and prepares them to offer the comforting healing care that people want and need in all domains of life and in addition to medical technical care they desire.  With the increase in patient and family desire to have physician-supported conversations, physicians and team members across all settings benefit.

  • Programs for Leaders, 1.5 Day

We offer an "Introduction to Conscious Dying Education and Care for Clinical Leaders and Professionals."  In this program, the Conscious Dying Principles and Practices™ are introduced.  They form the foundation for our model for sacred end of life care:

1-2 week leadership and launch meetings are followed by rollout to staff.  Key leaders are identified to participate in a 1.5 day leadership event to include 60-80 participants.  The staff training rollout follows to include several 2.5 day staff events, scheduled over the course of several months.  As examples, topics explored may include: pain management, suffering, anxiety, end stage diseases, last 2 weeks of life.
