I believe that every person has their own innate spiritual and personal authority, intelligence, and knowing, and my job is to use my unique combination of skills to help them uncover that. In addition to deep listening, intuition, and coaching, I employ a CDI framework known as the Care Vision Map for the Best Three Months of Life to support my clients as they plan for and move through their end-of-life processes. I lovingly create and hold a container for clients and their families and communities as they learn from each other, have difficult & meaningful conversations, and hold space for the loved one who is dying.
My mission, through 1-on-1 client work, family support, workshops, writing and speaking, is to bring folks to a new understanding of the paradigm of conscious dying. Ultimately, my work promotes individual, family, community and cultural healing.
As a former social studies teacher, I have a deep affinity and skill set for working with adolescents and their families.
