Ashley Bright received her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Professional Studies with a concentration in Aging Services Degrees from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. She currently works as a Social Worker and Discharge Planner at NHC Place Sumner, a 92-bed skilled nursing facility in Gallatin, TN. She has also received certificates through the Conscious Dying Institute as an End of Life Doula and Conscious Dying Educator. Ashley has a passion for helping people initiate quality conversation regarding their end of life wishes, and creating a peaceful, sacred space for those who are actively transitioning through the dying process. She provides end of life coaching using a transformational tool for life called the Best 3 Months Vision Map, and is available to sit bedside vigil for actively dying patients while providing comfort and guidance for patients and families throughout the transitioning process. Ashley is also available for speaking engagements, educating healthcare providers about the benefits of using an End of Life Doula as an enhancement to their practice.
